but still in mind for those ,,

where are those morning sky's ,, where SPARROWS use to chirp, mornings were more romantic then.
 no more chirps heard for years,, my silly childhood love affair with them.. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) >.....

Delhi's first bird ,, common house bird,, our dear sparrow is no more..!!
don't worry they haven't marked their complete extinction like Polio did 3 year back.Fight is still on at a 50 percentile in Indian sky and Andhra pradesh showed a remarkable bench mark with 80% extinction. :D :-D

Reasons for decline in there number is still unclear but a collage of many reasons gave clear sky picture with no brown dots(sparrows).

experts say more dominating bird species like rock pegions and crows doesn't give space for sparrows.people feed with an ultimate goal of feeding hungry birds but later on strong ones dominate as in our socities. peagons attack sparrows and eat there grains while crows have a upper hand ,they end up by eating sparrow eggs((((soo no hope for new ones.)))))))......
pollution is common reason,lead granules released due to combustion of petroleum is direct reason for sparrow deaths.
derth of nesting sites and increase in cell phone towers , bare electric lines, accompanied with scaring by dogs ,,,,are also the reasons.

first world sparrow day was on 20th march 2010  , and title of first bird(for Delhi) was given on august 2012 ,still can't find a single sparrow in neighborhood or on my roof. what greatfullness of government ,,,only one day is given on the name of conservation and not a single penny was released.
okhla bird centuary hasn't shown any good records.

feeding of sparrows is easy, they eat grains,insects,kitchen scraps and flower buds.nest in thatched houses ,building cracks,trees. and lay 3-5 eggs at a time .

easy measures can be taken from our sides by planting shrubs in and out houses ,saving parks,putting bird feeders and water bowls for them.
